North Melbourne Gas Regulator Station QRA & Expert Witness Statements (272-01)
North Melbourne transmission pressure has regulator station review and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) presentation regarding a proposed adjacent residential development.

Pipeline Technical Papers (293-02)
Two technical papers were prepared on behalf of the Office of Gas Safety for the Australian Standards ME 038-01 Committee. The first paper used the potential consequences of transmission pressure gas pipeline jet fires to determine the failure frequencies required to achieve an ALARP criterion. The second paper described a generic process for the application of quantitative risk assessment (QRA) to transmission pressure pipeline sections.

West Melbourne Regulator Station (221-01 to -03)
A QRA of the West Melbourne Regulator Station was undertaken, in light of the imminent extension of Collins St, proposed development in the area, and plans to relocate all equipment into underground pits. This study determined the maximum hazard radius for vertical gas releases through a pit opening, and using this determined the most appropriate relocation site for the regulator station.
