Banking Data Centre (399-01)
A functional availability review was completed for a key data centre. The assessment took account of failure modes and functional sequencing of power supply and emergency generators. The identified external & common mode failures significantly influenced the overall availability of the system.

Cable 41 Risk Assessment (130-05)
The purpose of the assessment was to review failure possibilities of the existing 330 kV cable and system elements providing peak load supply from Sydney South to Beaconsfield. A generalised Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA) process was used.

Control Centre Review (388-03)
A desktop review of the dual primary control centre configuration.

Corporate Risk Profiling (138-08)
Risk & Reliability Associates completed a corporate risk profiling exercise with ElectraNet SA. The process involved identification, analysis, evaluation, control, response processes, monitoring and review for risks relevant to the companies business operations.

Enterprise Availability Profiling
As part of the review of a hospital's on-site high voltage and emergency generation power supply, high level availability modelling was completed. This identified the critical departments and areas in each of the buildings in terms of life safety impacts.

Live Low Voltage Network Work (337-01 - 337-03)
R2A were commissioned to analyse the risks to linesmen associated with low voltage overhead line work being undertaken with the low voltage network energised and de-energised. The study used cause-consequence modelling to provide a comparison between working live and working de-energised during a specific maintenance task on low voltage overhead mains.

North Island Black Start (388-05)
Black Start availability modelling for the North Island. The model allowed the various aspects of Black Start capability & capacity to be analysed for future planning purposes.

Power Supply Modelling (235-02)
R2A undertook a modelling task to compare two possible power feed options being considered, dual feed 8MVA (6MV) power supply option and a dual feed 12MVA (10MW) option.

Review of Blackstart Procedure (388-01)
R2A in association with Stoks Limited was engaged by Transpower New Zealand to provide an external overview on the black start test procedures and management.

Risk Review of Power Supply (235-01)
The purpose of the review was to conduct a high level due diligence study of the hospital power supply and proposed reliability enhancements.

SIL Review of the re-instrumentation of the Tumut 3 power station (397-01)
A review for the re-instrumentation of the Tumut 3 power station using a functional hazard assessment consistent with IEC 61508.

Substation Cause-consequence Modelling (276-02)
A cause consequence model was developed to investigate the value of SEGRI protection against the threat of transformer explosion in substations especially in critical CBD substations.

Transmission Line Risk Management System (217-01)
The TLRMS was initially applied to the Palmerston - Sheffield line to determine spans that were not compliant with the ESAA guideline. It was then extended to the entire Transend Network and a program put in place to upgrade all non-compliant lines.
