A career pilot and instructor, Sandy has over 30 years experience in the Aviation industry. Sandy is the currently the Chief Pilot and Chief Flying Instructor at the Peninsula Aero Club.
Experience
As an associate with R2A, Sandy provides specialist advice on risk issues associated with airports, airspace and pilot training and practices. Sandy has worked with R2A on the development of aerodrome airspace risk model developed for the Civil Aviation Authority in New Zealand. This was subsequently adapted for Australia. He has also been involved in the recent studies for Williamtown and Avalon for the Office of Airspace Regulation of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
