Jessica Wallis is a chemical research student with R2A. She is currently studying Mining Engineering at the Western Australian School of Mines in Kalgoorlie through the Curtin University of Technology.

Due to the boom in the mining and minerals industries, especially in the west, there has been an increased interest in related courses. Studying at a regional campus specialising in mining and minerals, Jessica is currently enjoying the opportunity to study under particular field specialists in a small class environment.

As part of the R2A team, Jessica monitors current chemical consequence models including CFD modelling and provides research to support particular issues.

Student membership of Engineers Australia (2006) and Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) (2005).
