Risk & Reliability - An Introductory Text, now in it's revised 7th edition, was first published by R2A in 1996.

The text provides general information concerning the concepts and applications of risk and reliability theory. The text is used by R2A in its training courses on risk and liability management. A number of Australian University also use the text.

The text is currently divided into four (4) parts: Concepts, Techniques, Domains and Applications; and covers topics including risk paradigms, liability, risk management models, top down and bottom up techniques, modelling techniques and generative techniques.

The Domain section covers Corporate Governance, Crisis Management, Process Industry, OH&S, Finance and Marketing, and Security.

The new Part 4 outlines various applications of risk management including Project Risk Profiling, Enterprise Availability Modelling, SIL Allocation as well as a number of case studies.
